連休明けの来訪（Our Friend's Visit after the Golden Week)

5月10日、連休明けの週末に埼玉から友人が訪ねてくれました。

On May 10, one of our friends visited us from Saitama.

お天気が良いので聖高原まで足を延ばして、蕎麦処「木」で美味しいお蕎麦と山菜の天ぷらを頂きました。

そのあと、聖高原まで足を延ばしました。

It was such a fine day that we decided to drive all the way to Hijiri Hights. On the way, we had a fine buckwheat noodle lunch at Restaurant Moku.

Afterwards, we took a lift to the top of the hights.

聖湖のほとりを散策後、国営アルプス安曇野公園の菜の花畑を少しばかり歩きました。

After we walked to Lake Hijiri, we came back to visit Alps Azumino Government Park to see rapeseed blossoms.

友人の車は、今回はＢＭＷの電気自動車。

こちらに来る前に宮崎を旅行されたそうで、美味しいマンゴーとマンゴープディングをお土産に頂きました。

This time our friend came by an electric BMW.

He had traveled to Miyazaki before visiting us and brough us a couple of delecious mangos and mango puddings as his souvenirs.

日曜日の夜は青馬亭での夕食でした。

On Sunday night, we had a dinner together at our house.

5月11日も快晴でした。今回はトレッキングをという要望だったので、新緑の光城山に登りました。

May 11 was fine, too. To meet the request of trekking, we climbed up Mt. Hikarijouyama with fresh greens.

光城山を降りると、あやめ公園に立ち寄りました。

After enjoying the trekking, we visited Iris Park.

そのあと、さらに篠ノ井線廃線敷跡地遊歩道を歩きました。

Later we walked along the pass of the abandoned Shinonoi railway.

一日よく歩いたご褒美に、この日はレストランマサヒロ・ニシムラで素敵なフランス料理をご馳走になりました。

As a treat for a good walking, we were invited to restaurant Masahiro Nishimura's excellent French dinner course.

5月12日、午前中は国営アルプス安曇野公園を散策しました。

On May 12, we walked around in Alps Azumino Government Park in the morning.

チューリップはほとんど終わっていましたが、オオルリシジミやニッコウキスゲを見ることができました。

Most of tulips were finished but we could see an Oorurisijimi butterfly and Daylilies.

この日のお昼には、割烹昇月でご馳走になりました。貸し切り状態で贅沢な日本料理を味合わせて貰いました。

On this day, we were invited to a fine Japanese restaurant, Shougetu, for lunch. Our friend and we were the only guests to be served and we enjoyed luxurious Japanese dishes.
