松本城夜桜見物（Night Views of Cherry Blossoms in Matsutomo Castle)

4月9日、松本城の夜桜見物のために、友人達ふたりと松本駅で合流しました。松本駅にはもう一匹、予期せぬ奴が待っていて、びっくりでした。

On April 9, we went to Matsumoto to visit Matsumoto castle to enjoy night views of cherry blossoms with our friends. We met our friends in Matsumoto station and we were surprised to see another guy waiting for us.

花見で目を肥やす前に、まずはお腹を肥やしてやりました。

美味しいお寿司で乾杯！

お店に入ったときは風がすごく強く吹いていましたが、お店にいるうちに弱まって、散策向きになりました。

Before treating our eyes, we first treated our stomachs with good sushis.

When we entered this restaurant, the wind was terribly strong but while we were inside, it was subsided enough for a walk.

少し暮れてきました。夜は雨の予報ですが、家に戻るまでは降らしませんでした。

The sky was cloudy. Though the rain was expected, I did not let it rain till we came home.

冬のイルミネーションも素敵ですが、松本城にはやはり桜が良く似合います。

We love winter illumination on the castle but I still think Matsumoto castle with cherry blossoms the best of all.

お友達がお団子とお茶を奢ってくれました。

縁台に座って、花見団子を頂きながらお城と桜を眺めるのは、風流で、なおかつ、美味しかった！

お団子を食べているうちに、暗くなりました。

One of our friends kindly treated us Hanami dumpling and a cup of tea.

Sitting on a Japanese style bench and eating a traditional Japanese sweet, we enjoyed the beauty of the castle and the cherry blossoms to our satisfaction.

While we were taking some rest there, it became dark.

夜桜とお城のライトアップ。烏城の松本城と淡い色の桜との共演から生まれる独特の雰囲気には、毎年息を飲みます。アメリカ・イスラエルとイランの戦争の最中だけに、こういう美しさを楽しめる平和を、改めて大事にしたいなあと思います。

The black Matsumoto castle and plae pike cherry blossoms creat special atomophere, which I am amzed at every year. We are lucky to enjoy these beauties freely.

今年は博物館が移転したおかげで、お堀から天守閣までの風景がすっきりして、一段と綺麗になりました。

Without the museum, which was removed from the middle part of this photo, the view of the catle and cherry blossoms along the moat was much more impressive.
