松本城プロジェクションマッピング (Projection Mappings in Matsumoto Castle)

12月13日、冬型の気圧配置で、安曇野は良く晴れて冷え込みました。雪を頂いた蝶が岳と常念岳の写真は、この日のウェザーレポートの雪山に採用されました。

On Dec. 13, Azumino got chilled in the morning but was blessed with a clear sky with the moutains covered with snow. The below picture of Chougatake Mountains and Mt. Jounen was posted on the top page of the weather forcast in the corner of snow mountains.

寒い一日との予想でしたが、朝日がクリスタルガラスに反射し、暖かそうでした。

この日、松本ではクリスマスマーケットが開かれ、松本城ではプロジェクションマッピングの点火式があるというので、れいこさんと穗高駅から電車に乗って松本に向かい、松本でお友達と合流しました。穗高駅前は神竹灯（かみあかり）の飾り付けがされていました。こちらも今週末、もう一度催されました。

Though the cold weather was predicted, the rising sun and its reflection in the crystal glass looked warmly inviting.

This weekend some Christmas markes were held in Matsumoto. The projection mappings in Matsumoto castle also started on Dec. 13. In order to enjoy them with our friends, therefore, we took a train from Hotaka Station, which was decorated for the Kamiakari Festival held for this weekend, too.

ヨーロッパやアメリカのクリスマスマーケットを知っている僕らにとっては、松本のクリスマスマーケットはちっともクリスマス的ではないように映りました。

Christmas markets in Matsumoto were not much interesting to us, who are accustomed to Christmas markets in Europe and USA.

マーケットの散策には時間がかからず、点灯式までたくさん時間があったので、中町の中町カフェでゆっくりお茶をしながらお友達とお話をして過ごしました。ここはふわふわのパンケーキが有名で、僕らは五種のミックスベリーパンケーキと、エデンというブレンドのホットティーを頼みました。味はさっぱりしていて、とても美味しかった。

We finished looking around the markets in a short time. To spend the time before the opening ceremony of the projection mapping, we went to Nakamachi cafe, where we had a nice pancake dish with a wonderfully flavored hot tea as well as a friendly warm conversation.

二時間ほどカフェに居座って、暗くなって出て来ました。

クリスマスマーケットも夜になるとそれなりの雰囲気があります。

Two hours later, when we came out from the cafe, it was already dark.

In the evening dusk with a lot of lights, a Christmast market looked more Chirstmas like.

大名通りのイルミネーションを見ながらお城に向かいました。

We walked along the illuminated Daimyou Avenue to the castle.

5時45分から点灯式のセレモニーが始まり、松本市のアンバサダーになっているダンサーさんのデモンストレーションのあと、6時からプロジェクションマッピングが始まりました。

At 5:45, the opening ceremony started. Then there was a demonstration of a dance by the dancers, one of whom is an official sightseeing ambassador of Matsumoto city, before the projection mapping started.

最初は人が多くて、群衆の右端の方にいたため、二枚目の写真のようにお城の一面しか見ることができませんでした。ですが、一度目のプロジェクションマッピングが終わり、人の波の後ろでしたが両面が見られる位置に入り込むことができました。そして二度目のプロジェクションマッピングのあと、前の人たちと入れ替わる形で最前列に立つことができ、あと四枚の写真を撮ることができました。

この日は初めは風もなく、水鏡の像もくっきりしていました。また、心配したほどの冷え込みもなく、気分もゆったり鑑賞できました。

好位置を得られたのはお友達の助けがあったからで、お友達と一緒に行けて本当に良かったです。

When we went to the castle, there had been already so many people that we could not go father than the right side of the castle. This is when the second photo in the above was taken. Still, afther the first projection mapping, some people left and we could move further into the crowd and after the second demonstration of the projection mapping, we could take a very good positon to take the other four pictures in the above.

At the beginning in the evening, the temperature was not so low and there was no wind, either. We could enjoy the projection mapping quite comfortably. Without wind, the reflections of the lights on the water were very clear and beautiful, too.

It was thanks to our friend's help for us to take a good position. They were really helpful for us to take these pictures. We are glad that we could go with them.
