ネパールの旅 12：鳥羽への寄り道（Travel to Nepal: A Little Side Trip to Toba)

3月19日、関西国際空港に帰着。

翌、3月20日、僕らはれいこさんのお姉さんと一緒に難波から鳥羽に向かいました。

難波駅では、様々な車両が入ってきていて、面白かった。

On March 19, we arrived at Kansai International Airport.

On the next morning, March 20, we headed for Toba via Nanba, where we saw various types of trains to our fun.

僕らはこの車両で鳥羽に向かいました。

This is the train we took to Toba.

観光案内所で鳥羽湾めぐりを紹介されて、それに乗ることに。

We got information of Toba bay cruise at the toursit information and decided to take it.

イルカ島ではイルカかショーを見ることができました。イルカとの距離が近くて、面白かった。

On Dolphin Island, we could see a Dlophin show. The pool was small enough for us to be very excitingly close to dolphins.

宿泊先はKKR鳥羽でした。六畳の部屋ですが、板の間が付いていて、それほど狭くはなかったです。

桜が咲いていて、暖かさを感じました。

Our hotel, KKR Toba. Our room was one of the smallest rooms in this hotel but it was enough for two. Cherry blossoms were blooming with spring atmosphere.

部屋からの風景はばっちりです。

The view from the room was excellent.

伊勢エビと鮑の夕食。これが食べたくてやってきました。

The dinner with an Ise lobster and abalones, which were the primary purpose of this visit.

刺身にした伊勢エビの残りは翌朝味噌汁に。

翌朝の朝食。

We ate an Ise lobseter's sasimi and the rest part of it was used for Miso soup on the next morning.

3月21日朝は鳥羽城跡などを散策しました。

On the morning of March 21, we walked up to the old site of Toba castle.

水族館に行くというお姉さんと別れて、僕らは名古屋に行くためJR駅に向かいます。途中で真珠の養殖を見ました。

Saying goodbye to Reiko's sister, who went to Toba Aquarium later, we headed to JR station to go to Nagoya. On the way, we saw peal farming rafts closely.

上段左と中：近鉄駅にはたくさんの人がいましたが、ここには人がまったくいないので、最初は駅なのかどうか心配になりました。でも表に出てみると、駅名があり、無人駅ということでした。

上段右：電車が入ってきて、運転手さんに聞いたら、これが折り返し名古屋に行くと。

下段左：普通列車ですが、指定席の側は最後まで混んでいませんでした。

下段中央：名古屋では十分な時間待ちがあったので、駅のきしめんを食べました。

下段右：穂高駅に着いたのは夕方6時頃。タクシーに乗ろうと一番に降りたのに、タクシーが一台もいなくて、家まで歩くことに。やれやれでした。

upper left and middle: Unlike Kintestu station, JR station was very quiet without any other passengers. At the beginning, we wondered if we were in the right place. Then we found this station was an unmanned station.

upper right: When we were wondering what to do, this train arrived. The driver informed us that it would go back to Nagoya.

lower left: Our seat was reserved. Later this train was quite crowded but we were comfortable in the reserved seat area.

lower middle: At Nagoya station we ate Kishimen noodles for late lunch before taking a Shinano Superexpress Train.

lower right: We came back to Hotaka station around 6 p.m. We got off first in order to take a taxi. Still, there was no taxi in the station and we had to walk back to home. These days we cannot often get a taxi when we want to use one.

タクシーのことでは兄達に文句を言いましたが、それでも楽しい旅行ができて感謝です。兄達にはたくさんのお土産を買ってきました。レモンと甘夏は鳥羽のお土産です。れいこさんは他に、自分用にネパールの服も買っていました。

I complained to my older brothers about a taxi but except for that, we enjoyed our travel a lot and thanked them for that, giving them our souvenirs. Lemons and Amanatsu oranges were purchased in Toba. Reiko also treated herself with a set of Nepali clothes.
