安曇野春景色 (Beautiful Spring in Azumino)

安曇野でもソメイヨシノが次々に満開を迎えています。

4月8日は快晴となり、いつもの拾ヶ堰自転車休憩所の桜を見に行きました。こちらの桜はやや遅くて、七分咲きくらいでした。常念岳に雲がかかっているのが、残念ですが、青空に桜と芝桜が、いつもながら見事です。

Someiyoshino Cherry Blossoms have been in full bloom in Azumino.

On April 8, we were blessed with such a good weather that we drove by the bicycle rest place along the Jukkaseki Weir. This is one of the typical beauties in Azumino.

風がなく、水鏡の青空と桜が美しかった。

Without wind, the water relfection of the blue sky and the cherry blossoms were gorgeous.

本を返しに図書館きぼうに行くと、こちらはソメイヨシノが満開でした。子供がいなかったので、遊具で遊ばせてもらいました。

We went to the library to return the books and found their cherry blossoms in full bloom. There were few people there and I played with children's play goods there for a while.

帰りに南小学校のそばを通ると、こちらも満開になっていました。

On the way back we passed by Minami Elementary School, where Someiyoshino Cherry blossoms were in full bloom, too.

午後、お友達の絵を見に、池田の北アルプス展望美術館に出かけたついでに、広い公園を散策しました。

ここでは様々な種類の桜があって、北アルプスとの共演を楽しめました。

In the afternoon, we visited the museum in the Northern Alps View Park in Ikeda to see one of our friend's picture there. On this occasion, we also walked around in the large park, where there were many kinds of cherry trees.

翌日、4月9日、天気ははや下り坂で薄い雲がかかっていましたが、明科の廃線敷遊歩道を訪れました。

初めてですが、北アルプスをまた違った角度から眺めることができて良かったです。車も駐めやすかったので、次回はもう少し腰を据えた散策を考えています（人気が少ないので、道は整備されていますが、熊鈴が必要だなあと思いました）。

On April 9, the weather was already declining and the sky was thinly covered with cloulds. Still it was fine enough to enjoy cherry blossoms and we visited the walk along the abandoned railroad line in Akashina, for the first time. The view was much better than we had expected. The parking was not so difficult as we had been afraid. Next time, we would like to walk much longer distance. (The walk was well taken care of but there were so few people there that we thought we should have brought a large bell against bears!)

今回は手前の一キロほどを歩いただけでした。途中で、枯れ枝の手入れをしている業者さんと出会い、切り取った枝から花がついたものをひと枝、わけてもらいました。これは、花見に出て来られなかった兄たちへのお土産にしました。

This time we walked only one kilometer from the entrance.

On the way, we came across the gardeners to chop the deat branches off and asked for one of the branches with some cherry blossoms. I brought it back to my older brothers, who are not allowed to come out to enjoy cherry blossoms.

遊歩道で、龍門渕公園のソメイヨシノが満開だと聞いたので、帰りに立ち寄りました。週末はさくら祭りだそうですが、もう少し散り始めていましたが、まだまだ見事でした。

While walking along the abandoned railroad line, we learned that cherry blossoms in Ryumonbuchi Park were in full bloom. We stopped by there, therefore, on the way back. Some cherry blossoms started falling but they were still beautiful.
