安曇野の春風景 (Spring Sceneries in Azumino)

安曇野は一年でも春が取り分け美しい観光地。ということで、春になると何でもない場所も美しくなり、ついつい写真を撮り過ぎてしまいます。

Azumino is a popular tourist sight and its spring sceneries are especially so attractive that we tend to take too many photos.

4月21日、給湯器修理の手続きのために松本のエディオンに行く途中、ハイジの里からの風景が美しくて立ち寄りました。

On April 21, the Northern Alps from Haijinosato road station was too beautiful to pass by on the way to Matsumoto to request for our water heating system's repairment.

すると、地元の方々のお茶の集まりに誘われて、しばらく歓談することに。この会はあちこちでおもてなしをなさっているそうです。

Then we were invited to a tea by the local group which welcomes visitors here and there offering tea and local treats.

4月22日、チューリップの咲き具合を気にしてやってきた国営アルプス安曇野公園穂高口で花桃が見頃を迎えていました。チューリップも半分くらい咲いていましたが、この日のハイライトは花桃でした。

On April 22, we visited Alps Azumino Government Park to see how their tulips were before the Golden Week and found the flower plum trees in full bloom. Half of the tuplis were in blooming but this day's best shots were of the flower plum trees.

4月24日、今年最初のタラの芽とコシアブラを頂きました。天ぷらにして、蕎麦と一緒に頂きました。

On April 24, one of the neighbors gave us these wild vegetables. The first ones for this season. We deepfried them and ate them with buckwheat noodles.

4月28日、友人が今年も小夏ちゃんを送ってくれました。この農園の小夏ちゃんは市販の品よりもずっと甘いので、兄弟みんな大好きです。

On April 28, one of our friends very kindly sent us a boxfull of Konatsu oranges this year, too. The Konatsu oranges from this fruits garden are very sweet and all of us love them.

4月29日、今年最初のテラスライフ。これからはテラスでランチの回数が増えます。

冬の間、室内で育てていたレモンの木も外に出してやりました。

On April 29, at last a nice summery day arrived and we had our first tea on the terrace this spring.

From now on, we can have a lunch on a fine day on the terrace. We took out our lemon tree out, too, which we kept inside during the winter.

4月30日、ゴールデンウィーク中の平日、国営アルプス安曇野公園の大町地区で野鳥観察会に参加しました。

この日はオオルリとたくさん出会いましたが、すでに林の方に移動していて、距離があったから、僕らのカメラではあまりはっきり捉えられなかった。それでも、イカルに初めて出会うなど、新しい体験もしました。

On April 30, we joined the wild brid watching event held in Omachi Area of Alps Azumino Government Park.

We saw many Blue and White Flycatchers but they had already moved into woods and were a little too far for us to take good pictures of them by our camera, to our disappointment. Still we had many excitements, including the first sight of Ikaru, Japanese Grosbeak.

観察会のあと、園内のチューリップや緑を楽しみながら引き返しました。今年から大町地区でも水仙ではなくてチューリップが植えられていました。

After the event, we walked back to the gate, enjoying the tulips in full bloom and fresh green leaves and azaleas.

快晴の気持ちの良い天気だったので、高瀬渓谷まで足を延ばし、葛温泉のかじかの宿で温泉を楽しんできました。人が少なくて、温泉も独占。ゆっくりできました。

It was such a fine day that we drove all the way to Takase Valley to enjoy the hot spring in Kuzu Hot Spring.

There were very few people there and we could take a hot bath to ourselves to our great satisfaction.

5月1日、快晴だし、今年は国営アルプス安曇野公園穂高堀金地区の菜の花もチューリップも満開が連休と重なってしまっているので、ゴールデンウィーク中の平日のこの日、朝一番、開園前に堀金口に並びました。

開園となって、皆さんが入場券を購入しているうちに、パスを見せて中に入り、人のいない菜の花畑を展望台から撮影しようと頑張りました。

On May 1, it was during the Golden week but it was a week day and such a fine weather. What was more, both rape blossoms and tulips of Alps Azumino Government Park were reported to be in full bloom. Therefore, we decided to go up to the park the first thing in the morning.

We first headed for Horigane area and while others were buying tickets, we showed our pass and entered before others and dashed to the observation spot so that we could take a good picture without other people.

そのあと、大急ぎで車に戻り、中央口に移動。車が次々と入ってくるので、なかなか合流できないなあと思っていたら、開園30分ですでに中央口は満車に近く、僕らは隅っこの方に駐める羽目に。それでも入れたのはラッキーだった。僕らが駐車場を通り過ぎていると、入場規制を掛けるようにとの声がけがされていました。

Afterwards, we dashed again back to the car and moved to the main entrance. We were lucky enough to park there though we had to park our car at a very end of the parking lot. When we were walking to the main gate from the car, security guards were going to start the admission regulations.

というわけで、チューリップ畑は満開でしたが、人も一杯でした。

Therefore, there were as many people as tulips in the middle part of the park.

園内は広いので、僕らはチューリップ以外の場所をゆっくり散策。ここでもイカルさんの群れと出会い、「コーヒー一杯いかが」という優しい声をはっきり聞くことができました。シジュウカラさんたちもたくさんいました。白い花があちこちで満開を迎えていて、足元にもたくさんの野草が花を付けていて、目を楽しませてくれました。

Still the park is spacious enough for us to take a nice walk without being bothered by other people. To our pleasure, we found Ikaru there, too, and could hear their cute voice, "How about a cup of coffee?" very clearly.

We also found many other blossoms and wild flowers, too, which are special treats in this season.
