安曇野のゴールデンウィーク (The Golden Week in Azumino)

4月29日、ゴールデンウィークの始まりと共に早春賦の碑の前で早春賦祭が開かれました。

お天気がイマイチでしたが、おかげで暑くなく、ゆっくり演奏を聴くことができました。

On April 29, the beginning of the Golden Week, Early Spring Song Festival was held in front of the Early Spring Song Monument.

Though the weather was cloudy, we could enjoy the musics and the dances.

4月30日、国営アルプス安曇野公園の大町地区で野鳥観察会が開かれました。今年は新緑の芽吹きも早く、新緑観察会になってしまいましたが、楽しい散策ができました。オオルリなど、見ることはできましたが、撮影はできませんでした。唯一撮影できた鳥はメジロでした。

On April 30, a wild bird watching event was held in Omachi Area of Alps Azumino Government Park. As fresh leaves started budding earlier than usual, the event actually turned out a fresh green leaf watching event. We could still see some birds, though I could take only one picture of a bird -- a Japanese White-eye.

5月5日は快晴でした。北アルプスが水田に映る姿が美しかったです。

May 5th was an excellent day. The Northern Alps were beautifully reflected in the water paddy fields.

僕らは着物と袴で正装し、兜を被ってお祝いしました。

We dressed up in traditional Japanese costumes with helmets.

5月6日は夕焼けが綺麗でした。水鏡に映る夕焼けはこの時期ならではです。

On May 6, the sunset was gorgeous especially reflected on the water paddy fields.

5月7日は快晴。水鏡に映った我が家の姿も爽やかな季節です。

May 7 was another fine day. We could observe our house with the reflection on the water paddle field.

この日はどこの田も田植えが進み、田には小さな苗の姿が見られるようになりました。すくすく育ってもらいたいですね。

On this day, rice planting was done in many paddy fields. We hope that the rice plants will grow well.

5月8日、連休が明けたところで国営アルプス安曇野公園を訪れてみました。ゴールデンウィークに合わせて咲かせる菜の花やチューリップは終わりかけ、連休明けに咲きだす藤やあやめがすでに満開でした。

On May 8, we visited Alps Azumino Government Park after the Golden Week to find most of rapeseed blossoms ant tuliped finished while wisterias and irises, which are usually expected to start blooming after the Golden week, were alrady in full bloom.
