安曇野に春がやって来た！(Spring Has Arrived in Azumino!)

4月となれば春の訪れが遅い安曇野にも花が咲きだします。

April brings a flower season to Azumino, where spring arrives later than in Hiroshima.

ソメイヨシノよりも一足先に咲きだすコヒガン桜と蝶が岳、常念岳

The above cherry blossoms bloom earlier than Someiyoshino cherry trees. The first spring shot of cherry blossoms with Mt. Chougatake and Mt. Jounendake.

4月12日、一足先にソメイヨシノが満開となった松本城を友人達と訪れました。

On April 12, we visited Matsumoto Castle, where Someiyoshino started blooming a little earlier than in Azumino.

明るいうちにお城周りをさっと見ましたが、今回は浚渫工事のためにお堀にたくさんの機材が入っていて、写真を撮りにくかったです。

Before the sunset, we walked around the castle taking photos but the dreding works in the castle moat prevented us from taking many photos.

友人たちと合流したメディアセンターではコナン君の映画の広告がいたるところに。

夕食は久し振りにタイレストランで美味しいエスニック料理を頂きました。

We met our friends in Media Center, where they advertised the new movie of Detective Conan very widely.

We visited a Thai restaurant near the castle and enjoyed their delicious ethnic dishes.

料理は三人分です！

夕食後、お城のライトアップを楽しみました。

After dinner, we enjoyed the light up of Matsumoto Castle.

ライトアップ中は中庭も無料開放されています。

During the light up, it is free to go into the garden of the castle.

この日は満月に近く、桜と丸い月の競演が見られました。

It was almost full moon and we could enjoy an almost full moon with cherry blossoms.

4月18日には埼玉の友人がやってきました。この頃には安曇野のソメイヨシノも満開になりました。

On April 18, one of our friends visited us from Saitama and enjoyed the full blossoms of Someiyoshino in Azumino.

堀金道の駅では菜の花が満開。鯉のぼりも泳いでいました。

Rape blossoms were in full bloom with carp streamers at the road station of Horigane.

友人が乗ってきたポルシェと一緒に。れいこさんの運転で走りました。友人はドキドキだったのではないかと思いますが、優しい人なのでおおらかに運転を見守って下さってました。

With our friend's Porsche. Reiko drove it while showing the local sights. I am afraid that our friend was scared by her driving skills but he was too nice to complain it.

友人を案内したときは花は咲きだしたばかりでしたが、ソメイヨシノは満開で綺麗でした。

When we visited there with our friend, rape blossoms and tulips were just coming out while Someiyoshino cherry blossoms were in full bloom.

夕食は友人のご招待で、地元では第一級のフレンチレストラン、ボンヴィバンでのコースディナーを頂きました。

For dinner, our friends chose a delicious French dinner course in one of the best local French restaurants, Bon Vivant.

翌、4月19日は、池田の北アルプス展望公園を散策。ソメイヨシノがまさに満開でした。

On April 19, we drove up to The Northern Alps View Park in Ikeda, where Someiyoshino cherry blossoms were just in full bloom.

続いて夢農場に。

こちらもソメイヨシノがちょうど見頃で、どこか懐かしい牧歌的な風景を楽しめました。

Later we visited Yume Farm in Ikeda, where Someiyosino were just in full bloom, too, presenting an old fashioned Japanese country beauty.

夢農場でお花見ランチを食べてから家に引き返し、自転車に乗り換えて安曇野を走りました。

We enjoyed our take out lunch in Yume Farm, looking at cherry blossoms, and then we drove home to take a bicycle instead to ride around Azumino.

早春賦の碑にて。ソメイヨシノは半分以上散っていましたが、散りゆく桜も綺麗でした。

At the memorial statue to celebrate an early spring song, many cherry blossoms were falling but falling cherry blossoms were beautiful, too.

大王ワサビ田まで自転車を走らせました。桜に代わり、花桃が咲きだしていました。

We rode our bicycle all the way to Daio horseradish field, where flower peach blossoms had started blooming after cherry blossoms.
