安曇野、春の訪れ (Spring Has Come in Azumino)

例年、安曇野の春は遅くて待ち遠しいものですが、今年は少し早く、三月の末には色々な色が楽しめるようになりました。

In Azumino spring always comes later than in Hiroshima but this year it arrives a little earlier than usual, at the end of March.

3月28日、大王わさび田にわさびの花を見に出かけると、梅が満開で、コヒガン桜も少し咲きだし、ワサビの白と緑、北アルプスの白と青に、華やかさを添えていました。

On March 28, we visited Daioh Horseradish Field to see horseradish flowers and found many plum blossoms as well, which gave extra colors in the horseradish field to our joy of the eye.

わさび田にはアオサギのコロニーがあります。この時期は葉っぱに隠されていないので、観察しやすいです。

There is a colony of Blue Herons in the horseradish field. At this time, we can observe this colony clearly without tree leaves to hide it.

3月29日、国営アルプス安曇野公園に出かけました。すでに鯉のぼりが上がっていました。花はまだ少ないですが、白梅が満開だったのと、今年はパンジーがチューリップに先立って訪問客を楽しましてくれています。

On March 29, we visited Alps Azumino Government Park. There have already been flying carp streamers. There were still very few flowers and blossoms. Only white plum blossoms were in full bloom. We also found some pansy fields, too, to entertain park visitors before the tulips.

4月3日、暖かい日が続いたおかげで一週間と経たないうちに、コヒガン桜や杏などが咲きだし、国営アルプス安曇野公園は一気に賑わい始めました。穗高口周辺のネモフィラも咲きだしました。今年はネモフィラの作付け面積が随分と広がっています。

まだチューリップの開花前ですし、ソメイヨシノは蕾ですが、それでも随分と綺麗になりました。

On April 3, we revisited the park. Thanks to some very warm days, the park was suddenly blessed with many colors. Kohigan Cherry blossoms, Apricot blossoms were coming out. Nemophilas near the Hotaka gate are also coming out. This year they have been planted in many more places than last year.

4月5日、天気は曇りでしたが気温が高いので、自転車を走らせてみました。

曹洞宗穗高山宗德寺ではコヒガン桜や垂れ桜が満開でした。

On April 5, it was cloudy but so warm that we rode a bicycle to see how many cherry blossoms we could see.

In Soutokuji Temple, we cound Kohigan Cherry blossoms and Weeping Cherry blossoms in full bloom.

南小学校のソメイヨシノも三分から五分咲きになっていました。満開まであとひと息ですね。

Someiyoshino Cherry blossoms in Minami Prementaray School were coming out, too. They will be soon in full bloom.
