安曇野、冬の始まり(Winter Has Arrived in Azumino)

12月4日、今年も12月に入った途端に初雪となりました。夜の間に降って、朝起きてみたら銀世界でしたが、初雪らしからぬ7センチもの積雪に驚かされました。

On Dec.4, we had the first snow in Azumino. It is not unusual to have it at the beginning of December but this year it snowed during the night so much as 7 cm high, which is unusual for the first snow.

左：12月5日が満月、コールドムーンでしたが、4日もほぼ満月で、夕方のビーナスベルトとの競演が見られました。

12月6日、雲ひとつない晴れの日。朝は-5度と冷え込みましたが、北アルプスが綺麗でした。この日はなないろ農園の農園仕舞いで、いちご採り放題のファミリーデーを催してくださいました。いちご採りの前に、皆でドローンによる記念撮影。背後の北アルプスが見事です。

Dec. 6 was a very fine day without any cloud at all though it was very cold (-5 degrees centigrade) in the morning. This was the family day of Nanairo strawberry Farm and they let us pick up strawberries freely before closing the farm. Before we started picking berries, we had taken our pictures with the beautiful background of the Northern Alps by a drone camera.

まだまだたくさんの実が残っていました。

There were still many berries to pick up.

いちごは少し白っぽいけれど、気温が下がった分、糖度が増していて、甘かったです。

クリスマスプレゼントももらいました。

The berries look a little pale but were all the more sweeter thanks to the cold weather.

We were also received a Christmas present, too.

穂高神社の冬の例祭、神竹灯（かみあかり）がこの週末と次の週末開催されます。5日金曜日、6日土曜日は寒波で夜のお出かけが躊躇われたけれど、7日の日曜日は寒さが緩んだので、思い切ってでかけてきました。

On Dec. 7, we visited Hotaka Shrine for their winter festival, Kamiakari Festival. The festival was held on Dec. 5, 6 and 7 and on Dec. 12, 13 and 14. Dec. 5 and 6 were so cold that we hesitated to go out on those nights but on Sunday, Dec. 7, the temperature raised. We thought it a good chance to go there.

日曜日だったので人が多かったし、コンサートもあったりして、賑わっていました。でも、夕方5時頃はまだ10度あったので、僕もマフラー無しで歩き回れました。それが半時ほどで気温が一気に下がり、寒さに震えるようになって引き上げてきました。

As it was Sunday, there were many people. They held a concert, too.

At 5 o'clock, when we arrived there, it was still 10 degrees and I could walk around without a scarf. Yet about half an hour later, the temperature dropped so suddenly that we thought it was time to go home.
