今年最後のお出かけ(This Year's Last Big Event)

12月19日、前夜は雪が降り、朝は晴れて-8℃の冷え込みでしたが、ホワイトムーンとモルゲンロートに、美しい日の出を見ることができました。雪があると、景色がいつもより映えます。

On Dec. 19 morning, we could see beautiful sites of Morgen Rote with the white moon and of the sunrise, thanks to the snow the evening before.

12月21日は、今年最後の大きな予定を控えていました。寒波が降りてくるとの予報でお天気を心配しましたが、兄達にもお願いして、何とかお天気を保たせてもらえました。

まずは、午前11時の電車で塩尻に向かいます。

塩尻のレザンホールでマツケンサンバコンサートが開かれる予定でした。こういうコンサートは初めてのことで、勝手がわからず戸惑わないか、場違いな思いをしないかと、あれこれ心配していました。

On Dec. 21, we were expecting this year's last big event and wondering if the weather would be held all the day. Reiko promised the older brothers to give a good reward if they kept the good weather and they did it!

We took 11:00a.m. train to go to Shiojiri to attend the Matsuken Sanba Concert in Raisin Hall there.

We had never attended this kind of concerts and we had been a little nervous about being out of place there.

グッズ販売の場所には長い、長い行列ができていましたが、サンバ棒が一本くらい必要なのではなと並びました。列がなかなか進まず、最後はかなり焦り、途中で「サンバ棒一本だけしか購入しないから」と言って、すぐにお会計の方に行かせてもらい、ようやく着席したのは五分前。

We thought that maybe we should have a penlight for the concert and joined a very long queue. We stood in the lone more than half hour and the conert was going to start. Reiko talked to one of the sales girl that all we needed was one penlight and receiving one pen light before other people, we left the queue to stand in another queue to pay for it. Still we seated ourselves only a few minutes before the concert. Phew!

すると、左隣の人はバッグ一杯にいろいろなサンバ棒を用意しているし、右隣の人はチビケンさんにサンバ棒二本と団扇を持っていらっしゃるので、一本だけでも買ってこれて良かったと。

席は前列から三行目の真ん中あたりで、まわりはファンクラブの人たちが多かったようです。

僕がサンバ棒を一本振って応援してると、左隣の人がれいこさんに同じような色のものを二本貸してくださり、僕らは賑やかにサンバ棒三本を降り続けました。

Then we saw so many penlights in the bags at the foot of the persons on the left, while the person of our right had brought Chibiken(Ken's mascot) ,two penlights and a fan. Our seat was one of the best ones and most of them occupied by the people of Ken's fan club.

When I was shaking our newly purchased penlight, the person on the left gave Reiko two more penlights to shake.

舞台中央にとても近かくて健さんの表情や衣装がしっかり見えました。健さんはどんな格好も決まっていて、しかも歌がとても良かった。You Tubeなどで聞いていたのとは音が違うし、以前ファンクラブで歌われていた時よりも音響効果が良くて、改めて歌でもプロなのだなあと感動しました。

We were so close to the center of the stage and we could see Ken and his clothes very clearly. He looked so handsome and gorgeous in any costumes. What was more, his songs were excellent. The sound was very different from those in You Tube. They were much better than even those songs once we heard in the fan club's party, where the sound equipment must have been good enough. We were very much impressed by his good voice and wonderful singing.

コンサートは1:00からの部と4:00からの部があったのですが、サンバ棒を貸してくださったお隣の席の方達は遠くからいらしていて、4:00からの部も見て、今夜はお泊まりなのだと言われていました。健さんのような、キラキラの黄金色の着物でいらしていたファンもいたし、ファンクラブの人たちの熱量にはびっくりしました。

ともあれ、コンサートは実に充実していて、今度は舞台も見たいなあと思いました。

The people on our left came from far and said that they were going to the second concert on that day and stayed in Matsumoto overnight. There was a man in a Gold color kimono, too, just like Ken's Sanba II's kimono. We were surprised at the enthusiasm of Ken's fans.

Still the concert was so entertaining that we now want to see Ken's another concert or stage.

塩尻駅では、到着時には気が付かなかったクリスマスツリーの前で記念撮影。

At Shiojiri station, we saw a big Christmast tree, which we had not noticed at arrival.

コンサートが素晴らしかったので、帰り道松本で降りて、コンサートの余韻に浸りながら松本城のプロジェクションマッピングまで待つことにしました。

松本の街中イルミネーションにも少し早かったので、駅ビルで早めの夕食に、わさび蕎麦を頂いてから街に出ました。家を出る前にブランチを食べただけだったので、お腹が空いていたせいもあって、美味しかったです。

The concert was so exciting that we could not go home directly. We decided to stop by Matsumoto and see Matsumoto Castle's Projection Mapping.

We had more than enough time to spend before the Projection Mapping, we first had an early supper, for we had had only branch before leaving Hotaka.

駅を出ると、来年の2月でパルコが閉店になるので、まずはパルコのクリスマスツリーを見ました。

After leaving Matsumoto station, we first stopped by Parco's Christmas Tree. This is the last chance to see it, for Parco in Matsumoto will be closed next February.

わさび蕎麦夕食と、大名通りを歩いて女鳥羽川を超え、松本城へ。

Later we walked along Daimyou Stree, crossing over River Metoba, to Matsumoto castle.

松本城のプロジェクションマッピングが始まるまで三十分ほどありましたが、冷え込みがそれほどきつくなかったので、心配していた雨や雪も降らなかったので、一番良い角度に陣取って待っていました。

We had to wait more than half an hour before the projection mapping but it was not so cold as we had been afraid. We went to the best place to take pictures and waited there till the following projection mapping started.

今年のプロジェクションマッピングは浮世絵博物館の協賛があったせいか、絵柄に歴史を感じさせるストーリー性があったり、躍動感があったりして、例年以上の面白さを感じました。

One of the sponsers of this year's projection mapping was Ukiyoe Museum and it was more interesting than usual with historical backgrounds of this area and dramatic and dynamic scenes of famous Ukiyoes.

満足な一日でした。

We were very much satisfied.
