ネパールの旅 7：ポカラからバクタプル(Travel to Nepal: From Pokhara to Bhaktapur)

3月16日、旅行5日目、ホテルアンナプルナビューでの二度目の夜明けは雲が多くて、残念ながら初日ほど綺麗なヒマラヤの姿を見ることはできませんでした。

On March 16, the 5h day of our travel, we tried to see the sun rise from Annapurna Range second time but many clouds prevented the view of Himalayan mountains.

それでも、テラスでの朝食は気持ちが良かったです。

Still we enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace.

朝食後、再び、いずれは立派な高速道路になるだろう道を空港へと引き返します。

After breakfast, we took the so-called highway which will some day become a superb road, to go gack to the airport.

上段左：飛行機は今回も遅延。遅れたのは一時間半。遅延に慣れてきたのと、初回よりは段々遅れる時間が短くなっているので、この国はこういうものなのだなあと、のんびり構えることに。

下段左：軍用機だけでなく、ライフルを持った兵士もいた。

Upper left: Once again, the flight was delayed. Still it was late only for one hour and half, shorter than before. We got accustomed to being kept waiting, thinking that delaying is quite normal in this country.

カトマンズに到着して、昼食は中国料理。ターンテーブルはあったけれど、料理は給仕人がついでくれた。

We had Chinese lunch in Katomandu. There was a turning table but all dishes were served by waiters.

昼食後は世界遺産ダクタプルを観光しました。

ダルバール広場の観光パス。

After lunch, we visited Dakutapuru.

The sightseeing pass of Durbar Square.

ダクタプルはネパールの古都ですｙ。

Dakurapuru is a Nepali old city.

ネパール地震で壊れたものもあり、まだ復興途中でした。

右：野犬が普通に広場や道のど真ん中で、死んだように寝転がっている。これがネパール式なのか、そこここにこんな犬がいるので、踏みつけないように注意しないといけない。

These buildings were suffered from a big earthquake in Nepal and some of them were still under reconstruction.

right: Wild dogs lie down in the middle of a road, a square, or a park as if they were dead. I wonder if this is a Nepali style for lying for dogs. We saw many of them lying like this and had to be careful of our steps lest we should step on them.

民族衣装でお参りの人たちもたくさんいました。

Many people were visiting there in their local costumes.

下段左と中央：町のあちこちにこうした水場があります。

下段右：町中でもトラクターが通ります。

Upper left: We saw this kind of Mandala shop here and there.

Lower left and middle: Water places are found there and there, too.

Lower right: A tractor is a normal vehicle in the town.
