ネパールの旅 2：ヒマラヤ遊覧飛行(Travel to Nepal: Sightseeing Flight to Himalaya Mountains)

3月13日、旅行二日目のカトマンズでは、早朝ヒマラヤ遊覧飛行に出かけました。

On March 13, the second day in Kathmandu, we were expected to take a sightseeing flight to Himalaya Mountains.

左：このブッダエアーで飛ぶのかと思いきや、別の飛行機に案内されました。

中央：駐機場で待っているうちに太陽が翳ってきました。

右：飛行機に乗り込めたものの、空港は閉鎖になり、待機。

left: We first thought we would take this Budda Air plane but finally we were guided to another one.

middle: While we were waiting for riding, the sun was being hided by the clouds.

right: At last, we boaded into an airplane but the airport was closed so that we had to wait in the plane for three hours.

左：待ち時間が長くなりすぎ、朝食の時間を過ぎてしまいました。飛行機ではビスケットがひとつ配られました。

中央：三時間も待ってもう駄目かと思った頃、やっと飛び立てました。空からボダナートが見えます。

右：やっとヒマラヤ山脈の端っこが見えてきました。

left: We had to wait too long to have breakfast and they served us a small pack of biscuits in the plane.

middle: After waiting for three hours, we could fly at last. Boudhanath could be observed.

right: Here we go! At last, we could see Himalaya Mountains.

次々と名前を教えてもらいましたが、エベレスト以外はごちゃごちゃになってしまいました。

We learned the names of the mountains but all the mountains except for Everest were confused.

The triangle peak is Everest, 8848m.

左：ホテルに戻ったのは正午、これから昼食に行こうというのに、食べ損ねた朝食代わりのお弁当が用意されていました。

left: We came back to the hotel at noon, where our breakfast box was waiting though we were expected to leave there soon for lunch.
