南イタリアの休日5 (Southern Italian Holiday 5)
9月9日、旅行6日目、この日も快晴で暑くなりそうでした。
On September 9, the 6th day of the travel, it was a fine day and was goint to be very hot.

ヴィエトリからナポリに向かう途中、ポンペイに寄る。
On the way from Vietri to Naples, we stopped by Pompeii.

この日のランチはピザ。暑い日でもピザは美味しかった。ただ、ここのトイレは窯場と隣り合わせだったため、蒸し風呂になっていた。
This day’s lunch was a large Margherita pizza. It was delicious but their toilet was a steam room just behind the pizza oven.
ナポリに到着して、市街地見学。
After arriving in Naples, we had a walking tour of the city.

僕らのホテルの部屋は卵城の真ん前でした。部屋は広く、設備も整っていました。
Our hotel room was just across Egg Castle. The room was spacious and well equipped.
夕食レストランはホテル近くの海岸沿い。歩いて出かけるとき、カプリ島がはっきり見えました。
Our dinner restaurant was along the seashore close to the hotel. On the walking way to it, we could see the island of Capri clearly.
前菜のリゾットは海老や烏賊が入って美味しかった。でもメインを考えて半分以上残しておいた。おかげで、メインの焼き海老四匹を平らげることができた。海老は一匹が20センチ以上もありそうな大きなもので、ロブスターのような味わいだった。
This day’s risotto was quite tasty with shrimps and squids. Still we did not eat it up lest the main dish should become too much. And we were right! The main dish was a plate of four very large baked shrimps, which tasted like lobsters.
