南イタリアの休日1 (Southern Italian Holiday)
9月4日から9日間の南イタリアの旅に出かけました。
9月3日、台風接近の日に出発しましたが、雨が降り出す前に大阪に到着できました。
We visited Southern Italy for 9 days from September 4.
When we left home on September 3, a typhoon was coming. Still we arrived at Osaka before raining to stay with Reiko’s sister overnight.
上段左）翌日午前中は雨でしたが、大阪の友人とカフェで会っているうちに雨はあがりました。

下段中央、右）トルコ航空でイスタンブールに向かう。乗ってすぐに休んだので、降りる直前の食事だけ頂きました。フルーツ一杯、と言いたいけれど、アレルギーのあるパイナップルとキーウィーが半分。ちょっと物足りなかった。

Lower middle and right: Our seat in Turkish airplane and their breakfast. We slept without eating their dinner. And the half of the breakfast was pineapple and kiwi fruits, which we had strong allergies, to our disappointment.

中央）空港のカフェでバクラバの値段を見てびっくり！ 3センチ×2センチほどの小さな一片が８ユーロ（1500円）。円安とはいえ、やはり高い。
右）お土産物のバクラバやロクムが25ユーロから50ユーロ（4500円から9000円）。とてもお土産にできない。

9月5日、イタリア、バーリに到着
We arrived at Bari in Italy on September 9.
バーリの世界遺産、カステルデルモンテ城の観光
We visited Castel del Monte, the world heritage in Bari.

ランチは五穀サラダと仔牛のソテー。仔牛の味は良かったけれど、我々のものは筋が多くて硬かった。人によっては柔らかい部位だったらしい。
Our lunch was Five-grain salad and sautéed veal. Our portion of veal was very chewy but other people had much more tasty ones.
バーリからアルベルベッロに向かう。途中に葡萄畑がたくさんあった。このあたり、ワインも美味しいらしい。
On the way from Bari to Alberobello, we saw many vineyards. We heard that they yield very good wine.

夕食もトゥルッリのレストランで、パスタはこの地方でよく食べられるオレキエッテ。
Our dinner was given in a Trulli type restaurant. Their pasta was orecchiette, one of the typical one in this area.
